This policy explains how to cancel RoboHost services, what is refundable, and what happens to your data afterward. It forms part of the Terms of Service.

1. How to Cancel

You can cancel any subscription at any time — no phone calls, no retention forms:

  • Self-service: Dashboard → Billing → your plan → Cancel. Effective at the end of the current paid period unless stated otherwise.
  • Support: open a ticket or email billing@robohost.ai from your registered email address.

Cancellation stops future renewal charges; it does not delete your data immediately (see Section 5).

2. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

First-time customers on a new hosting plan may request a full refund within 30 days of the initial purchase — no questions asked. The guarantee applies once per customer, to the first paid plan only, and to the plan fee (not add-ons or third-party products listed in Section 3).

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7-14 business days. Payments made by bank transfer are refunded by bank credit.

3. Non-Refundable Items

The following are consumed at purchase or controlled by third parties and are not refundable once provisioned:

  • Domain registrations, renewals, transfers, and redemption fees — registry charges are final once submitted (the domain remains yours and transferable)
  • Premium SSL certificates — once issued by the certificate authority
  • Setup, migration, or professional-service fees already performed
  • Add-on products (SiteLock, CodeGuard, dedicated IP, business email) after activation
  • Renewal payments — renewals are not covered by the 30-day guarantee; turn off auto-renew before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue

Where a third-party provider itself reverses a charge (e.g., a failed registration), we pass that reversal back to you in full.

4. Trials, Proration, and Mid-Cycle Changes

  • Free trials end automatically — no charge, no action needed. Unpaid trial accounts pause on day 14.
  • Upgrades are charged the prorated difference immediately and take effect at once.
  • Downgrades apply at the next renewal; the current term is not partially refunded.
  • Account credits (including SLA credits) apply to future invoices and are not paid out as cash.

5. What Happens After Cancellation

  • Paid period end: your sites stay live until the paid term finishes, then suspend.
  • Grace period: content, files, and settings are retained for 30 days. Export everything from the File Manager or request an archive — while suspended you can still log in and export.
  • Deletion: after 30 days of suspension, hosted data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
  • Domains: registrations you own remain active under your ResellerClub/registry customer profile regardless of hosting status; manage renewals through your account or transfer out at any time.

6. Suspension for Non-Payment and Abuse

If a renewal charge fails we retry for 7 days and notify you before suspending services. Services suspended for Acceptable Use Policy violations are not eligible for the money-back guarantee; pro-rata refunds in such cases are at our discretion.

7. How to Request a Refund

Email billing@robohost.ai or open a Billing ticket stating your account email, the invoice number, and the reason (optional for the 30-day guarantee). Eligible refunds are confirmed within 2 business days.

8. Chargebacks

Please contact us before filing a chargeback — most issues resolve faster directly. Unresolved chargebacks may suspend the account until settled and may be disputed with evidence of service delivery.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this policy; material changes are announced 14 days in advance. The policy in force at the time of your purchase governs that transaction.
