This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines prohibited uses of RoboHost services. It exists to protect our network, other customers, and the public. Violations may lead to content removal, suspension, termination, and — where required — reporting to authorities.
1. Illegal and Harmful Content
You may not use the Services to host, transmit, or link to content that:
- Violates any applicable law or regulation
- Is fraudulent, deceptive, or intended to mislead (including phishing pages and fake storefronts)
- Infringes copyright, trademark, patent, or other intellectual property rights (see our DMCA Policy)
- Constitutes child exploitation material or sexually exploits any person — prohibited absolutely and reported to authorities
- Promotes terrorism, hate speech, or violence against protected groups
- Defames, harasses, threatens, or invades the privacy of individuals
2. Security and Malware
You may not:
- Distribute malware, viruses, ransomware, spyware, or any malicious code
- Operate command-and-control infrastructure, botnets, or exploit kits
- Attempt unauthorized access to any system, account, or network — including probing, scanning, or brute-forcing without written authorization
- Intercept or collect credentials or data belonging to others
- Fail to take reasonable care to keep your own applications patched and secured
3. Email and Messaging Abuse
- No unsolicited bulk email (spam), purchased lists, or messages without valid opt-in consent
- No spoofed headers, open relays, or deceptive sender identities
- Bulk senders must maintain list hygiene, honor unsubscribes promptly, and comply with CAN-SPAM/CASL/GDPR marketing rules
4. Resource and Network Abuse
- No cryptocurrency mining, game servers, open proxies, or TOR exit nodes on shared plans
- No use that degrades service for other tenants: runaway processes, fork bombs, or sustained resource consumption beyond plan limits
- No launching denial-of-service attacks or amplification traffic — inbound or outbound
- No circumvention of rate limits, quotas, or billing systems
5. Restricted Content and Activities
The following require prior written approval or are restricted on shared plans: adult content (legal adult content may be permitted case-by-case), gambling where unlawful, sale of controlled substances, high-risk financial services, and content scraping/crawling of third-party services in violation of their terms.
6. Third-Party Networks
You must comply with the acceptable-use rules of upstream providers, registries, and networks through which your traffic passes, including ResellerClub and domain registry policies.
7. Reporting and Enforcement
Report abuse to abuse@robohost.ai with evidence (URLs, logs, headers). We investigate promptly. Our response may include warnings, content removal, traffic filtering, suspension, or termination. Severe or repeated violations forfeit any refunds under the Cancellation & Refund Policy. We may charge reasonable costs incurred handling abuse originating from your account.
8. Changes
We may update this AUP at any time by posting a revised version; continued use constitutes acceptance.
